Talks with Creatives at the Citizen Dialogue, Karlskrona
I participated in an international event where I presented my ongoing artistic research project as one of the speakers at the Talks with Creatives, part of the Citizen Dialogue program in Karlskrona. This session aimed to unite creative minds to share their processes and visions.
The event took place on July 30th at Blue Port Studios, located at Blåportsgatan 10 in Karlskrona. You can find the full program for the event here.
During my presentation, I discussed my exploration of identity and sense of belonging in Blekinge. Through surveys and conversations, I collected stories, colours, and emotions, which I transformed into a collective portrait using a unique blend of empirical analysis, traditional art, and data-driven techniques. This project weaves together the personal stories of the region’s inhabitants with artistic interpretation.
The event was organised by T.A.B. – Innovation Hubs for Tech, Art, and Business, in collaboration with the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Hyper Island, Karlskrona Municipality, and the Arts Dot/Konst i Blickpunkt.
